On the morning of October 29th, 2019, the inauguration ceremony for the Schindler Vietnam Factory was held at the Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, Nha Be District, HCMC. The ceremony was attended by the CEO of Jardine Schindler Group - Mr. Jujudhan Jena, the General Director of Schindler Vietnam - Mr. Ta Huy Vu, the Factory Manager - Mr. Duong Quy Suu, the management team of Schindler Vietnam, the Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park JSC Board of Directors, and other esteemed guests.

Schindler Vietnam Ltd,. was one of the first foreign-owned elevator companies to begin operating in Vietnam. Daily operations include importing, installing and maintaining Schindler elevators and escalators. In order to maintain a constant supply with the ever-increasing demands of the market, Schindler Vietnam Ltd,. will expand the production scale by investing in a new factory in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park. Hiep Phuoc is the largest industrial park in HCMC, possessing a strategic location with comprehensive infrastructure, diversified utilities, three international seaports and is easily accessible by highway and the international airport.

With the desire to develop production in Vietnam, Schindler built a factory of 10.000m² and was outfitted with state-of-the-art machinery, including, Laser Cutting Machines, CNC machines, and a Shot Blasting Machine. The factory’s design and concept is attentive in being environmentally conscious and is focused on energy saving and minimizing waste.
